Read the sticky, particularly this
then read this
finally, most of the commands in your screenshot are not related to HLDJ (as you can tell by the fact they're not prefixed with "hldj_")

I have had the same problem with uninstalling HLDJ, but with the game L4D2.

I get the same console messages too (at least the parts of the messages I can see).

I haven't solved this problem either and hope someone can help us.

Supplemental information:

I did delete all the hldj_ cfg files (as mentioned in another post), but I noticed that when I start Steam, the files are recreated (with the old creation dates - seems strange to me), so it would seem that something is happening in regards to HLDJ and Steam on my computer (or the Steam servers and my computer??). The recreated hldj cfg files are shown in the attached image.

My thanks to all who take the time to read this and consider whether they might be able to help.

Hi, please create your own topic.
In response to Steam recreating the files, it's likely as this would be their "Cloud" service. I haven't observed this yet causing problems with HLDJ (just minor nuisances), but you can try disabling/renabling Cloud for your game; or I have found removing the contents of "Steam\userdata" folder may work (at your own discretion/risk).

If you are experiencing problems using HLDJ with L4D2, you may want to try the HLDJ L4D2_fix version.

Thank you very much for your reply and the information. I will explore these ideas. They all provide both good ideas and information! I may have follow up questions, but I will take your suggestion to make a new topic for them. Thanks again.
