it would be better if hldj had a proper microphone emulator, like deamon tools with there virtual cd drive! with a microphone emulator i think everyone's problems would be solved and also it could probably run on other games too.

Yes, I've been thinking of something like this for a while. The only thing is this would negate the console interface and things like the audio list would have to be rethought.

make a game overlay, i think there will be no need for the console i suppose.

Im guessing an emuted mic would require a special driver since you are emuting hardware.Then after making a working driver get a way to copy the wav data into the imput sound stream.Then you would have to find a way to output that stream out of the driver.The rest should be easy settings setup tasks like setting the emu mic as the default hardware then setting a bound key on your keyboard to both start streaming the wav file to the mic and start the ingame stream.
