HLDJ Presets w/ Video Tutorial for Goldwave Batch
Hi, some months ago I created a tutorial running through the presets I've fine tuned over the past 3 years. Figured I'd post it here, after some positive reactions from people who followed it. http://www.youtube.com/user/ReconUnit415?feature=mhee#p/u/21/PLMV0e11w3Q Contains before/after clips taken ...

Re: Team Fortress 2 voice codec update [14/04/11]
Renegade, I know I'm being greedy here, as this is not a commercial product, and I know I have absolutely no right to demand something of you, but I'd say about 70% your program's users play it on TF2 regularly. There's also the fact that, in eventuality, all Source 2007+ games will be updated to ...

I have devised a tutorial to serve as a temporary replacement for HLDJ until this gets cleared up.
Also, I heard somewhere that the codec does not allow playback from a file. If this is correct... then it may get a little complicated rebounding.

Re: Team Fortress 2 update
http://intoxgaming.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=20390 I wrote up a tutorial here on how to micspam without HLDJ or conversion. With the new codec, fine editing of micspam is no longer required, and thus, the method I posted is much more viable. There are a few inconveniences to it, like not being ...

Re: Voice codec updates
Aww, that's really too bad. Wonder when they'll implement this to Source. Songs already sound loads better in 16k, rather than 11k.

Voice codec updates
Forgive me for not fully understanding the connection between Steam and the Source engine, but will these voice codec quality changes be reflected ingame? I would love a higher quality HLDJ :) Also, if anyone knows, what are the new frequency cutoffs for the new codec? Let the reconversion of ...

Feature Requests
My first suggestion is have the option for hldjr to pick from subdirectories as well. When you get to 1000+ micspams, you tend to need to organize them into folders. Secondly, the amount of columns displayed in console. I'd like to have three to fit my widescreen monitor. I do remember it used to do ...

Re: won't order my new wavs
My drive is partitioned into two. The other is NTFS. I guess I'll move it on over there. Thanks for the comfirmation, if you could add a sorting method in later versions, please do.Renegade wrote:Yes, that makes sense if it's FAT32. I'd recommend reformatting the drive to NTFS if possible.

won't order my new wavs
[Topic split]
I have a problem where it won't order my new wavs even when I delete/reinstall.
It gets confusing browsing thru 600 songs trying to find one when they're not alphabetized.
Also, any updates on when a x64 version will come out?

Ok. I started it up and started a game, typed la, and quit. For some reason the log didn't change at all from when I first started up the debug version.

Re: Error "exec hldj_listaudio.cfg: file size larger than 1 MB!"
Yes, I have been using HLDJ for months now. 1.4.5 is what I am currently using, and when you had 1.4.8 up, I used that. They both worked. I was using 1.4.8 before I tried upgrading to 1.5 (and overwriting the .exe in the process).
Also, I've tried admin and compatibility mode.
