Thanks Renegade. That was the problem, the audio directory along with the program, was stored in a NAS folder, which runs a Linux distribution, so, the HDD wasn't in NTFS or FAT.

I changed the complete directory to a local hard drive and now it's sorted alphabetically again.

YAY, this version works perfectly. Game directory selected: left4dead2_dlc1. Tested, working fine 100%.

Will see if i can find someone using HLDJ and L4D2, so far, not lucky with the interrogatory xD.

A) Exactly, i just double checked that a few minutes ago. Doesn't work if the game directory is "left4dead2" with the DLC.
B) Correct. That creates the file into "left4dead2\cfg".
