Script to automatically login to Steam and launch HLDJ
So you have two or more Steam accounts on the same computer, and therefore can't use the 'Remember my password' option on the Steam sign in window. You want to login automatically without having to type your username and password, and launch HLDJ immediately afterwards. Here's what you do: (NOTE ...

In Options, what's the difference between 'launch game application' and 'auto-start default game'? They sound similar.

using hldj to launch shortcut/batchfile
I use a Windows computer that has multiple TF2 accounts, with each person using their own profile to launch TF2. Steam currently does not allow automatic logins for different accounts on the same computer. So for the convenience of other users, I can't login automatically into TF2 (I now have to ...

Renegade, have you seen ReconUnit's HLDJ Goldwave Conversion tutorial? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLMV0e11w3Q In the beginning of the video he shows all of his presets and settings he uses, but if you want to hear the difference between the original song, HLDJs converter, and Goldwave's ...

Re: music from one file is replacing the music of other file
I'm an admin on my computer. My music is located at C:\music\steammusic, and then divided into subfolders depending on the genre of music. This is only a guess, but there might be a connection between the currently selected song, and the one previously played. I think this might be how the issue ...

music from one file is replacing the music of other files
Using v1.6.02. Some of my music is replacing the music of other filenames. For example, the music of songA.wav has replaced the music of songB.wav, even though songB is still labled "songB.wav", and the original music of songA.wav is still the same. I hit F1 thinking I'm going to hear songB, but the ...

shortcuts to music files
Is it possible to put all songs in one root directory, then create shortcuts that point to the respective song in the root directory? So instead of putting multiple copies of the same song in different directories, the shortcut would be used in each directory to point to the one song in the root ...

Re: Team Fortress 2 update
You're not the only one. TF's blog says "TF2’s now hooked up to Steam's new SILK audio codec, which dynamically adjusts bandwidth demands for superior internet audio. Listen to people around the world call you horrible things with crystal clarity." The specific update says, "Updated voice to use the ...

exec hldj_listaudio.cfg; file size larger than 1MB
Hi. I'm Running XP SP3. I downloaded the lastest version of HLDJ. My songs play fine, but when I use the directory I get the "exec hldj_listaudio.cfg; file size larger than 1MB" error alot. Not all the time, but enough to be annoying. Also, when I try going to different directory it shows the same ...

stereo quality with HLDJ Audio Converter
Hi. Will the Audio Converter have the capability to convert MP3s into wav files with a stereo-like quality? meaning it will sound almost equal to the original MP3, with a good balanced sound, instead of all the music coming from one direction.

How does my sound card affect playback?
Hi. I'm using a basic sound card that came with my PC, which is the SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio. When I play my music in-game, the quality is a little lower than playing it from my computer outside the game. I have 2 questions about this: 1. Is the music quality I hear in-game exactly what ...

Can't hear music in TF2
Hi. Running HLDJ 1.6.0a7 32-bit on Windows XP SP3. I'm trying to use HLDJ on Team Fortress 2. After loading a song and pressing F1 in-game, I don't hear any music, only a very faint buzzing. 1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? Yes 2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on ...
