I had this problem too. Most server has sv_use_steam_voice 1, and HLDJ is overridden by steam, and activates the mic instead. Its what I'm guessing, but I just type: "sv_use_steam_voice 0" in console and it works. :]

Forget it. Worked only on some server that has sv_use_steam_voice 0. Not a lot of server I play on has this command off. Guess its been awhile and steam added this command? Only if there was a way to bypass this.. I like to play music when people ask, and seems like a lot of servers has sv_use_steam ...

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? Yes 2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)? I think it did. This is what I notice that I think could be wrong. Unknown command "i.e." Unknown command "etc." Unknown command "All" Unknown command ...
