I plugged-in an old microphone and everything works just fine now, weird since i had the microphone enabled in windows 7 settings. Anyways thanks for the help!

Ok so im pretty damn sure i'm doing everything right and i get absolutely no errors when hlds successfully loads the game but i still can't get it to work in any server.
