search and find where the HLDJ configs are created (i.e. search "hldj"), the voice_input.wav should be in the same location. if not, post a screenshot showing the contents of that directory and the console output after loading one of the sample audio files.

make sure you're testing with the sample audio and that the necessary sv_ variables stay set the entire time.

other players may be using different methods of broadcasting audio, or servers may allow certain players to broadcast and not others, etc. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with your HLDJ setup.

development for HLDJ has reached its goals and there are no major bugs, features or updates left to add. I don't plan on actively developing it unless there's a breaking change or some feature I feel is worth adding; however the forums are active and the HLDJ project is entirely open-source.

I tried an mp3 and it does not work for me either, although at some point I believe it had. I think it depends on the codecs/drivers you have installed for your audio device and even then it may not reliably play non-wave audio. so I'd recommend using wav's (also don't forget to enable Local ...

open Setup, double click on the game and change the Audio Path, it can be a relative or absolute path - your preference.
