Out of Memory Crash
This only happens when I press my designated "play" key, which is "p" in my case. I load a song just fine, and when I push "p" it instantly crashes and a window comes up with "Assert" in the title bar. It says Out of Memory and says something about Dismissing the Assert and also has some options to ignore the assert. Any clues as to how this can be fixed? I had the music set in D: to start, but moved it to C: with no results. Thanks.
Re: Out of Memory Crash
First make sure your songs are being converted correctly (check the sticky), if so, see if the dual-core gaming fix applies to you (sticky again)
Re: Out of Memory Crash
Thanks for the sticky. Apparently it was the audio converter I was using. I'm not familiar with how to mass produce tracks with Audacity. Is there a way?

HLDJ will also soon be getting its own built-in converter.

Re: Out of Memory Crash
Yeah, I'm having pretty much the exact same problem, except due to my poor grasp of computer terminology I have not been able to discern what I have to do from the previous conversation. Basically, I have no idea what a sticky is or what to do when I figure that out. Help!
(Edit) Oh yeah, I'm using Switch Audio Converter (in case that is of any use).

a "sticky" (fairly common forum parlance) refers to a topic that has been "stuck" (as in Post-It) on the forum's first page. In this case, you can access it quickly by clicking "Read this before posting in this section" at the top of your screen.
