Live music streaming

would it be possible to have a menu were you can play the music through game without having the music on your computer like a streaming program, say you have a server where you can upload music and it is sorted then players can browse music in game and play whatever music they like, I'm sure its possible.

It's possible alright... but that's almost another entire project in itself!

Also, out of curiosity, what would be the interest for this? If you're streaming the music even at most once, you're better off downloading it anyways...

well u could make it download instead just i find it easier to be streaming then downloading

Also, it might make your ping and the server's ping go through the roof.

I've always wanted to try something. If you get one of the male-male audio cables that connect things like mp3 players to car speakers, could you plug one end into your computer's speaker out, and they other into the mic in? If you did this, would whatever you're playing come through the mic?

Probably; however distortion is also likely.
