Wont play my songs

Look, this seems to be a common problem, but how on earth do I solve it?

Okay, so everything is installed correctly. 200% sure. I open ZPS (Zombie Panic Source) and type la in console. The list of my music comes up. I enter a number (one of my songs) and press enter. It loads. I press f1 to play it. The little yellow speaker appears, but no sound comes out of it, or just the ingame sounds (ie the music, explosions that sort of thing). It will NOT play my audio. I normally play with a headset, so I decided to take it off and try it. Same thing. Does anyone know how to fix this annoying problem?
