the sound not work the problem

I hldj64_1.6.02 install but when I go on the server I can type the following command in my console

- la To display the Playlist
- The number of music

once I key is pressed to start the sounds the microphone appears but no sound is heard

What is the conversion formats should I use for sound please, because I use your conversion interface included in the program HLDJ and sounds is not clear at all.
