I've tried to fix this problem that I've been having in TF2 lately with HLDJ not playing my audio files. I use the provided converter to convert them to the required format, I put them in the directory specified, and the audio files show up nicely in the console.
But there's one problem. I mapped "Play Audio" to the V key, and when I tap the V key in-game, it holds my mic open. But it doesn't play my audio! It plays my microphone, and instead of BaconHeavy's "Pooting On" (my selected file) I hear keystrokes. This happens in every game, without exception. Not even my locally hosted game that I ran as a test works right.
I've been tinkering around all over the options to no avail. Help!

read http://hldj.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=21#p21, and make sure you 'v' key isn't being rebound to something else (entering 'bind v' should say it is currently bound to "hldj_playaudio")
