Music wont play on windows 7

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? YES
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)? YES
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?

No nor does my Mic appear when i press my hotkey for my mic

I read the sticky/rules. I've spent several hours on this issue actually. I did have HLDJ working with Win7, but I haven't used it in quite awhile. Now it seems to work sometimes, and I can't seem to find any rhyme or reason to it, other than once HLDJ doesn't work, my ingame mic doesn't work either. Everything seems to work full time on my local server, after I've entered sv_use_steam_voice 0. Then when I switch to my pub server, no mic or HLDJ....most of the time. Once in awhile, it works. When it doesn't work, it isn't just no sound, it's as if the key presses aren't registering (HLDJ and voice comms via mic).

All of the Win7 related threads I saw seem to have simple answers, or went unanswered. Will HLDJ run in a stable way under Win7?

Edit: I thought I had it fixed....then I rebooted, and back to the same thing

I did find this message in console:

sv_voiceenable is set to 1, and like I said, it was working fine before I rebooted. This is very strange.

HLDJ is working as intended. Make sure sv_use_Steam_voice and sv_allow_voice_from_file are appropriately set for your public server.
