OOPS, i meant hldj

Re: CS 1.6 Problem! Help!
1) Did HLDJ launch the game for you?
2) Did you see "HLDJ loaded successfully" in console?
3) Does the file list display all your songs correctly?
4) Did you see any errors in console before or after attempting to select a song?
5) Was "voice_input.wav" created in the "cstrike" directory after selecting a song?
6) Do any other HLDJ commands work (i.e. 'hldjn', 'la', etc)?
7) Have you tried this on a local server?
8) If you're on Vista, have you tried plugging in a mic first to initialize the drivers?

hldj_sela.cfg successfully created!
HLDJ successfully loaded!
Quick-Start Guide:
1 ) enter 'la' to display the audio list.
2 ) enter the number of the file to load.
3 ) press the F2 key to start/stop audio.
Basic Commands:
hldjn, hldjp - loads the next/previous audio file.
hldjca, hldjcd - displays the current audio file/directory in console and on-screen.
hldjsca, hldjstca - displays the current audio file in public/team chat.
hldjsq, hldjqa - stops HLDJ and quits the current game/quits both.

Ensure your game directory is along the lines of "...\steamapps\username\counter-strike\cstrike"; this is where "voice_input.wav" will be placed after you've selected an audio file. Does HLDJ work with any of your other games?DavidBlaine1101 wrote:5) No...

And no.
Re: CS 1.6 Problem! Help!
Hmm, kinda stumped on this one... you can try removing the game aspect from the problem by invoking HLDJ commands directly:
1) Disable "launch game" in options and start CS in HLDJ
2) in your cstrike folder create a file named "hldj_sela.cfg"
3) the file should quickly disappear (HLDJ has consumed it on initializaion)
4) Next, create a file "x.txt" (we'll rename it later) and place the following in it:( '=' being your command Relay key, and '3' the number of the song; change these as applicable)
5) rename the file to "hldj_selb.cfg"
6) the file should be consumed by HLDJ and "voice_input.wav" created shortly thereafter in the directory.
If any, which step does not produce the expected outcome?
