[Any game]I hear my own voice, not music.

Hey,

When i start HLDJ, and follow all the steps..
It says it's playing the song i chose, but instead of music i hear myself (or whatever my mic is receiving).
Currently i'm trying to make HLDJ work in Counter-Strike: Source.

the stickies:
1) Try loading & playing the "sample_src.wav" file
Failure, same result.

2) After loading a song, check that the file "voice_input.wav" is created in the "counter-strike source" directory
yes, it is.

3) Does the voice comm work for you normally?
yes, it does.

4) Do you have Internet Explorer Beta 8 installed on your system?
hell no

HLDJ Just decided not to do anything in console..
When i type "hldj" (no quotes) in console, it tells me it's an invalid command.

is it me or..?

My sound uses "Realtek HD Audio Configuration" (Realtek 5.1 Onboard Sound)

If voice_input.wav is being created, open your console and enter:
"voice_inputfromfile 1; voice_forcemicrecord 0; voice_loopback 1; +voicerecord"
does this play the music, or just activate your mic? If the latter, then triple check that the file is in correct format, and if so, you may need to re-install your games/steam.

Gauging by your edit, have things now gotten worse? After pressing play in HLDJ, does it launch the correct game? do you see "HLDJ successfully loaded" in-console?

Yes it does launch the correct game, but it doesn't say it successfully loaded

It works now, it DOES say "HLDJ successfully loaded" in-console.

Only problem now;
1) console: la
2) <type number to load>
3) Press the "play" button (which in my case is HOME)
4) I hear myself, and not the music.

It just activates my mic, but i'm 90% sure it's in the right format..

Umm... I have the same problem except When I play the sample file it works but all the others I have made just make it to where I can hear myself talk. Please Help! I checked the properties of the songs I converted and the sample file and they are exactly the same so it should be working. if anyone knows what to do please tell me!
