I tried but could not find a command for TF2.
You could try voice_show_mute and voice_mute (these are commands from left 4 dead 2, they might not work for team fortress 2)
voice_show_mute gives you a list of people and a number for each person.
voice_mute # (replace # with the number of the person you want to mute) should mute them.

I'm sorry if this doesn't work. This is the best I can do :/

you can check if "voice_loopbackfromfile" is 0, and enter "-voicerecord". Also make sure you are toggling your play audio key off once you are finished playing. If all else fails, you can also enter "hldj_stop" to stop HLDJ.

He is not having a problem with playng HLDJ during the actual game; what he wants to know is how he might mute himself during demo playback.
