On some of my songs, HLDJ works fine, it plays them, everyone's happy. Then, on others, the little voice bubble pops up, but nobody, not even me, can hear it. I've converted them step-by-step correctly many times over, but they refuse to work. Anyways,

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?
Yes.
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?
Yes.
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?
The usual. It basically says "selected this song, wrote <letter>.cfg"
4) After loading one of the sample audio files, perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\tdgk\Team Fortress 2\
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game?
It works fine.

For example, nope nip works fine, but blood sugar doesn't play.(attached)

If some songs work and others don't then it's a conversion problem. Use the sample audio files for testing, and the built-in audio converter or Audacity for converting (instructions in the sticky). If you're using Audacity make sure you are clearing any metadata at the end of the export process.

I thought it was. I'm not sure what I'm missing, as I convert it normally. 11025Hz, 16bit PCM, Mono, but thanks anyways for the help.
As a matter of fact, I never noticed the built-in converter! That'll be a bunch of use to me.
