I'm at working wanting to play some TF2 but I can't get HLDJ to work without a mic plugged in and I don't have one handy. I also don't have headphones. Is there ANY way to get HLDJ working without a mic plugged in? I have tried the console command +voicerecord and that didn't work. Any help appreciated, thanks!

The instructions differ based on what OS you have. Generally if you can navigate to "control panel" -> sound options (I think in windows 7 it is "Sound") and access the recording options, you can force windows to enable the input device even if it isn't present.
