HLDJ Echos In-Game Sounds?

I've tried both the 32-bit and 64-bit version of HLDJ, and they both present the same issue (running Windows 7 x64).
So first I setup HLDJ per the manual on the website, converted my files (also tried using the sample .wav's on here),
and on both CS:S and TF2, when I hit F1 (the key I chose to play back sounds) it echo's the game's sounds instead of playing the file I selected.
My regular mic works fine, but HLDJ just plays back the game's sounds (gunfire, footsteps, ect.).
Any help would be appreaciated.
EDIT: Sorry I didn't read the rules first, so I'm adding the following:
1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? Yes
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)? Yes
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"? After selecting a song: Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/hldj_cmd_c.cfg Loaded : sample_src
4-a) After loading one of the sample audio files, perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where? c:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/t0ph3rf14m3/counter-strike source/
4-b) If it exists, open it in an audio player: does it sound like the audio file you loaded? Yes
4-c) If it exists, return to the game, and enter the following into console:
Code: Select allvoice_inputfromfile 1; voice_loopback 1; voice_forcemicrecord 0; voice_modenable 1; voice_enable 1; +voicerecordDoes the audio file start to play? No, it just echo's the in-game sounds
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game? Yes, my mic works fine
