Issue with HLDJ

I downloaded HLDJ, got everything set up perfectly, got it to work last night. Went to bed. Woke up this morning it was working normally and then all of a sudden, when I joined a friend's server, all I could hear was my own voice. Tried joining other servers that it WAS working in before, and all I heard was my own microphone. WTF. :/ I even dealt with this last night trying to get it to work. What's the deal? Why did work just before and then just stop working again? Can anyone help out? :)

EDIT: I've already tried in my own server. All it does is shoot my lerp out the window, drops my frame rate to about 10. Seriously. It was JUST working and RANDOMLY stopped. Anyone out there, please? Everything is loading correctly in my console, I can choose my song and everything. I just keep hearing my own voice... all my audio files are converted correctly. I never had this problem with HLSS... I don't know why hldj is being such a pain in the ass.

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?
YES

2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?
YES

3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?
I type "la" then a number and it picks the song I just chose and it loads it correctly.

4-a) After loading one of the sample audio files, perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where?\
Comes up in the Counter-Strike: Source Folder

4-b) If it exists, open it in an audio player: does it sound like the audio file you loaded?
YES

4-c) If it exists, return to the game, and enter the following into console:
CODE: SELECT ALL
voice_inputfromfile 1; voice_loopback 1; voice_forcemicrecord 0; voice_modenable 1; voice_enable 1; +voicerecord
Does the audio file start to play?

no it doesn't i just hear my voice.

5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game?
yes my voice works normally in game.

voice_input.wav exists and is in the correct place, the problem is not with HLDJ. See the sticky for instructions on the cvar settings that need to be set server-side.
