HLDJ Functioning Problem

hldj works for me in mods like battlegrounds 2 and insurgency, but doesnt seem to wanna work in CSS or Day of defeat source?
can you help?
when i click play nothing happens in those games. but in the mods, i have no problem.
am i missing certain files or something?
