Only audio from mic is playing in TF2

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? Yes

3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"? Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/hldj_cmd_b.cfg

4-a) Load one of the sample audio files and perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where? It shows up at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\eddmario\team fortress 2

4-b) If it exists, open it in an audio player: does it sound like the audio file you loaded? Yes, it does

4-c) If it exists, return to the game, and enter the following into console: voice_inputfromfile 1; voice_loopback 1; voice_forcemicrecord 0; voice_modenable 1; voice_enable 1; +voicerecord
Does the audio file start to play? No, just the audio from my mic
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game? My mic normally works for me.

I've tried EVERYTHING on a private server, but it still doesn't work. I really want to play some music while playing TF2.

If voice_input.wav is showing up and playing the problem is likely with the server. You need to make sure that your server is configured to allow audio playback, check the sticky for instructions.

I tried that. It still only plays my mic.

there's no problem with HLDJ that I can see, you might try re-installing the game and disabling Steam's Cloud service for it.

Same problem here, i tried everything...
Its all working but instead of playing music it plays my mic -_-

Does anyone have a solution?

Okay, I tried doing what the sticky said, but this time on a different map. NOW it works. It might have been that it doesn't work on ItemTest. You guys might want to check that out, see if you can find a fix for that.

Update: So apparently HLDJ randomly chooses not to work. I tried it on a private server, and the song I chose played. I than went to a server I know HLDJ works on, chose the EXACT same song, and it didn't work that time.

I'm getting this exact same issue as well.

Launches correctly, no console errors, same console output as the opening post, when I load up a song in the console the voice_input.wav file shows up in Steam\steamapps\[user]\team fortress 2, when I play voice_input.wav it's the right song, and when I put in the suggested console commands I'm still stuck listening to my own microphone looping back into the speakers (or nothing, if I mute my microphone).

And I know for a fact that I'm playing on a HLDJ-compliant server.
