New game+ Less hldj updates= doubt

A huge amount of people are still using it and we definitely don't want to downgrade to hlss.

HLDJ is designed to adapt to any mod (hence the decreasing need for updates). Unless you've seen some specific problem with HLDJ in Left4Dead, I have no idea what you're basing this assumption on.

Oh, I just thought that you needed to update it every time a new game came out, since I wasn't able to configure it with empires mod.

It works with Empires Mod much the same way it does with all others, you just need to read around a bit first, before coming to incorrect conclusions.
