HLDJ not playing music in TF2

Hi so i have been using HLDJ on css and it works fine but when i try to do the same thing to TF2 nothing works no sound excepts the sound comes from my mic. I know some servers disable it but when i even try to create my own server it does not work. So im wondering if it is MY fault or HLDJ's fault.
