HLDJ set up correctly but still playing my mic

I've read this topic: http://hldj.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=21#p21 as numerous people have been directed to it. So:
1) The game launuches correctly, the button in HLDJ goes from start to stop
2) No errors, this is what it says in the console on game startup:
HLDJ successfully loaded!
Quick-Start Guide:
1 ) enter 'la' to display the audio list.
2 ) enter the number of the file to load.
3 ) press the F1 key to start/stop audio.
Basic Commands:
hldjn, hldjp, hldjr - loads the next/previous/random audio file.
hldjca, hldjcd - displays the current audio file/directory in console.
hldjsca, hldjstca - displays the current audio file in public/team chat.
hldjsq, hldjqa - stops HLDJ and quits the current game/quits both.
3) When i pick a song (By typing "la" and then the number of the song, the console responds:
Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/hldj_cmd_g.cfg
Loaded : (song name)
Other hldj commands work fine
4a) I loaded up one of my songs and done the serach, found the file in Steam/steamapps/(account name)/team fortress 2
4b) When i played it, it sounded exactly as it should
4c) I copypaste in the command but the only thing that happens is that the speech bubble shows up without playing the song.
5) My mic in TF2 works fine, I can hear myself back, friends confirmed it too
