I have been using HLDJ for a good while now, I just built a new computer and installed HLDJ, I assumed I wouldn't have any problems but one I did find to be quite an issue.

I have all my sounds/music and it still WORKS, the only issue is that when I push F1 (My play key) it takes a good 3 seconds to register I have pushed it. I didn't have this problem before and I've tried installing 32-bit because I am running on 64.

Does anybody have a clue as to why its doing this or a known fix on it?

Try running HLDJ under an admin account, then try a guest account. If you notice the problem changes, it could be due to how HLDJ creates hardlinks vs. softlinks to the voice input file (usually linking is fast, but it can be slower if the files exist on another drive, or across a network, so you might try re-locating your audio files if it has any effect). Otherwise if it remains the same it could just be due to general lag.
