broken sound

ok i had hldj and couldent get it to work (all i could get was a buzzing/humming sound no matter what i did with the sounds i used) so i removed it as best i can, but now voice chat in any steam game does the buzz humm thing and i have no idea how to get rid of it any ideas?

Try re-configuring your microphone through the game's/Steam's mic options.
Alternatively, you can also try setting the following variables as such:

voice_modenable 1
voice_enable 1
voice_inputfromfile 0
voice_forcemicrecord 1
And you might want to ensure that all hldj files/commands have been removed from the game's config folder and autoexec.cfg file.
