I used to use HLDJ alot for TF2, but it stopped working one day, the current issue is that when i launch the HLDJ client and hit the play button, with all the proper directories selected and the correct engine ready, TF2 starts, and gets to the screen with the pictures of the guys and says loading...

then it crashes to desktop and says "hl2.exe has malfunctioned" or something like that

it USED TO work, I downloaded all the proper versions and everything..


HLDJ works for CSS for me right now, but not TF2.

some help please?

*edit* forgot to add that TF2 works fine when i launch it without HLDJ, and it even crashes when i launch hldj, and activated a session for tf2, without opening the game, then launching the game seperately, and it still crashes.

Yes, having more than 9000 songs in a single directory could cause the game to crash (too many aliases being created).

i....didnt mean the >9000 like that...

i just meant that it was failing really hard

dont worry i only have like 50 songs in the directory..

so any more help?
