HLDJ wont load CSS

i have a cracked version of CSS and when i enter the place it needs to go to start the game it doesnt work
instead it tries to start up steam
i was hopeing someone here would be able to help me
also to clear it up i didnt use pacsteam or paccafe so thats not a reason it starts up steam
