HLDJ Playing Same Soundclip After Changing It

Hello,
I'm having problems with HLDJ on TF2, L4D, and CS:S
It was all fine a few days ago, but it started acting a bit weird a few days back when for some reason all my game directories and stuff were all gone. It was strange because it did this after I uninstalled Windows Media Player 11. I dunno happened so I set them up again. I started it up normal, got the confirmation that it loaded fine. I typed "la" and found the audio I wanted to play, it worked fine. I go to play another clip, it plays the same song I just played. I try this with a few other songs, and it does the same thing. To insure that this wasn't a problem with TF2, I opened it with L4D. However, I got the same problem, I loaded up a sound clip, and again it plays the same song.
After a while, a friend told me to erase the HLDJ config files as he thought those might have been the problems. So I did, I figured that HLDJ would rewrite them. I was wrong, and it seems that HLDJ doesn't wanna rewrite the config files. I dunno what's happening so I came here for help.
I'm running Windows Vista and I have a Quadcore Processor, I used the manual to set it up accordingly.
Please help!
