"whale noises" feedback

OK so I see someone else has had this problem before and they not got it fixed :/

Anyways. I tried to use HLSS before and all I got was loud feedback noises.
I thought mebbe it was that program so I decided to try this (Which seems better anyway) however I got exactly the same stuff happening.

I am trying to play music in Battlegrounds 2, this should not be a problem I have the latest version so I only have to let it look for the game.
I know I converted the songs correctly but I downloaded the sample just to make sure and it is exactly the same.
The console commands all work fine. It doesn't crash or anything it appears to be workin perfect except that the sound is just messed up.

I have a multicore computer could this be part of the problem?
I am running Vista also.

IF there is anything else you need to know I would be happy to tell you. Any idea why this is happening?

Just to clarify, the new version will use the correct directory for 3rd-party games only when adding the game via Add (not Add-All, still working on this).
Other than that, ensure that voice_input.wav is being created in the correct location (I believe it's "source sdk base" for BG2?).
