I'm new to this bear with me, but I'm not an idiot when it comes to computers. I configured hldj it works great with L4D and TF2, but it does not work with gmod. Im using Gmod 10 so the game is not in my sourcemods folder. After I start it up and get in-game I type "la" into the console to see my songs, that works. But when I try to select a song by typing in the corresponding number it tells me it's an unknown command. Any help fixing this problem would be appreciated.

Make sure you didn't accidentally disable QuickSelect in HLDJ's advanced setup when adding your game(s). If not, after activating HLDJ, there should be an hldj_quickselect.cfg file in Gmod's cfg folder which contains all the numeric commands.
for diagnostic purposes, you can try manually executing this file manually: "exec hldj_quickselect.cfg" into console, and see if it works then.
