Work on this feature is progressing smoothly. In the near future HLDJ will be able to automatically convert mp3s to wav's in the proper format usable in-game.
This should prove to be an incredibly convenient feature for those whose audio library consists largely of mp3 files.

will this feature a de-base tool to reduce the loudness?

I can implement volume scaling fairly easily, but given that conversion is done on the fly, frequency analysis/filters and other advanced features are probably better left to standalone audio editors.
