Cannot get Music to play ingame
hey im running windows xp, with soundblaster x-fi extreme music sound card, i have net framework installed fully updated windows xp 32bit pro OS, when i get ingame all i hear is the feedback from my mic when i press "end" to toggle the music, but no music, just my tv sound from my mic recording, any help?
Re: Cannot get Music to play ingame
First of all, be sure to type 'la' in console and select a song before attempting to play. Also what do you mean by Mic recording of your tv? Is your HLDJ button the same as your talk button?

Re: Cannot get Music to play ingame
• do you see "HLDJ loaded successfully" in console on start up?
• have you tested with the sample wav from the sticky and on a local server you've created?
• after loading a song, ensure that the file "voice_input.wav" exists in your "steamapps\username\counter-strike source" directory
if it doesn't, verify your game directory is set correctly (for CSS, "steamapps\username\counter-strike source\cstrike")

u know i think i got it working
Re: Cannot get Music to play ingame
I trust you figured out what was wrong with the audio conversion?
Also, it appears HLDJ was loaded with 1 error, which means it had problems creating a certain file. This can be caused if some of the HLDJ files could not be cleaned up from a previous run. Check your game directory and the "cfg" folder within it and clear it of any HLDJ files (prefixed with "hldj_") before starting HLDJ again.
