Im sad of this, ive watched a ton of tutorials on how do set it up but its not working on anything like L4d and tf2, im kinda pissed, ok heres what i did
1: Downloaded and installed HLDJ, and set up the game directory (Username/team fortress 2/ tf), made a hotkey, etc
2: Got an MP3, converted it to a 11550 Mghz or something wav thing, 1 mono thing, etc
3: Put the file in the Audio folder, Hit the play button, started TF2
4: Console command came up, no problems
5: I joined a random game to test it out, hit 3 in console (The number of my song i wanted to play)
6: Then pressed my hotkey (F1) and nothing played at all, it just stood there, the headset icon not showing up, people didnt hear it, and i double checked everything, and tryed it with my headset in and out, and also Unbinded F1 incase that was doing anything, but it didnt help
I dont know wtf is happening, but im pissed about it
Im running windows vista but that shouldnt make a diffrence, if it does its bullshit
Please help quick reply please

Somethings to review:
2: try the sample wav provided in the sticky
5: make and join your own server (other servers may have HLDJ disabled)
6: after loading a song, check that the file "voice_input.wav" exists in your "username/team fortress 2" directory
it's not likely an OS problem, but in any case, vista is bullshit
