Problem converting a song

Hi, maybe you already know, I like TF2 and playing songs over it on surfing servers is the best thing I do and others enjoy it too ^^"

I expecially like playing YTPMV and BONK songs, so I found this song on youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xr9xRwvmIiQ

is called Bonk gourmet race, but there is a problem!!!!
The song is stereo, the music is divided, and played on the right speaker and the voices and sounds on the left speaker, the guide to convert the songs as a format for HLDJ says that:

"All audio files *must* be in in proper HL audio format (wav format using 8000Hz (HL game) or 11025Hz (Source game) frequency, 16-bit sampling rate, mono-channel) in order for them to sound properly." :geek:

I use Audacity and I do those things (usually):

First I split the stereo track in 2 single tracks, I delete one and I make the remaining one MONO and 16-bit, then I change the frequency on the bottom at 11025Hz and I export all as .wav file in the Audio directory of my HLDJ.

But there is the problem with this song!! The two tracks are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!! If I try to render with the first one in game I can hear only some voices and then messed up noises, if I render with the second one I can hear some music and then starts to be messed up too!!

Please help, is there a way to convert a STEREO song to a MONO AUDIO FILE to be played with HLDJ on TF2????

Should I post my PC hardware?

I need to update the tutorial since Audacity 1.3.x introduces a new way to do this:
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... ur_Project
(see the bottom part)
The way it's done now is by selecting the track then selecting Tracks->Stereo Track to Mono

That being said, the HLDJ audio (mp3) converter is just about done, so that tutorial may need to be revamped altogether.
edit: actually up right now, check the downloads page.

I'll try right now, I'll tell if worked :|

EDIT: The HLDJ audio converter not seems to work.... when I open it up a DOS-looking like window appears for 2 seconds and then closes.... what's wrong?

hldjconv.exe is a command line tool. type hldjconv for help or just use the batch conversion script if you want to easily convert all your mp3s.
