HLDJ Fails to Work

So, I have a problem with HLDJ when using it for TF2 (I don't know if it works for other games). Anyways, the console says the game loaded successfully and I'm able to filter throughout songs. However, when I go onto a server to play something (I've tested it on several servers, include one generated through Create Server), nothing happens. I hit the key I've chosen to toggle audio, and I get nothing. No sound, no voice bubble, nor a bar implying I should be playing/saying something.

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?: Yes
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?: Yes
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?: The same output I received when HLDJ used to work.
4) After loading a song, perform a search in your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up? where?: Yes, under the Team Fortress 2 folder
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up the appropriate options in your OS and the game? Yes.

You say HLDJ "used to work", what changed? Have you tested with the sample audio files located on the downloads page? Ensured that sv_allow_voice_input_from_file is set to 1 for your server?

1. It worked on my old computer, when it ran on Vista. When I changed to 7, it continued to work. I recently got a new computer (with 7).
2. Yes
3. Yes

When you use your mic, can other people hear you in-game?
Other things to try are:
1) After loading a song, enter the following into console:

Code: Select all

voice_inputfromfile 1; voice_loopback 1; +voicerecord
2) Re-installing the game
