About a week or so ago, my headset broke so I'm using a pair of headphones. A few days ago, I loaded HLDJ into TF2 and tried to play a song in Training Mode to see how it would sound. The only problem is, when I hit F12 (my play key) it decided not to work. At all. I restarted both the game and the program. I realized it was outdated so I reinstalled it with the newest version, the one that has the built in Audio converter. I deleted all the games from the list, re-input them, audio directory checked out fine, ect. I tried it again in TF2. Still decides to not work at all. Is there anything I can do to get it back?

I reinstalled it and I no longer get a error like I did before "Loaded with one error", but now I get this.

I should also add; There was no voice_imput.wav, so I copied the one over from my synergy folder. It played out as Final Destination so...

you sure you installed HLDJ correctly? the command is not playaudio, it's "hldj_playaudio"
sounds like you didn't install correctly

Yes, "playaudio" is from an older version of HLDJ. Though it shouldn't matter what you use as long as HLDJ is the only thing that binds your play audio key, so make sure you are not re-binding it elsewhere, or if this is the case, update that bind to use "hldj_playaudio"

Ok, so it would be Bind F12 'HLDJ_Playaudio'? I reinstalled it correctly, atleast I thought I did.

It says the alias is HLDJ_Playaudio, though, under advanced options.

Ugh, I'm not even getting the PlayAudio command anymore!
But no sound. At all.

Also, I'm in vista, and am currently Microphoneless.

Read the sticky/rules, see what applies to you.

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? - I don't launch the game through HLDJ, I do it myself.
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)? - No Errors.
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"? - Loaded: Blank
4) After loading one of the sample audio files, perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where? - I think it keeps deleting itself...
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game? - It worked for me before, but my microphone broke. Now HLDJ won't work.

Search for voice_input.wav with the game and HLDJ still running. HLDJ is supposed to delete it when it's done.

Well, it's there in the Team Fortress 2 Folder (Just Team Fortress 2, not TF)

You probably need to configure your input options, read the sticky, see the note attached to #5.
