1) What game is this?
2) What does the console say on starting the game (is HLDJ loaded succesfully?)
3) What does it display when you attempt to load a file?
4) Does HLDJ launch the game for you correctly?
5) Do any other HLDJ commands work (i.e. hldjn, hldjp, hldjca, etc)?

I've seen some people with this problem (the one from #2) specifically on Windows Vista (is that what you're using?), do you happen to see this error as well:

I'm looking into possible causes, but there's a good chance it's just Vista being a POS.

looks similar to this problem:
http://hostedboard.com/hldj-about347.ht ... ht=written
I'm not sure what causes it; check hldj_init.cfg, making sure all the files it "exec"s from in there are present in the directory. Although all you really need are atuoexec.cfg, hldj_init.cfg, and hldj_quickselect.cfg.

Okay, no error writing yada yada anymore,
WHAT I DID:
went to .../cfg/
i then deleted everything that had HLDJ_xxxxx.
I then rebooted up HLDJ and all files loaded successfully.
____I seem to have no more errors when switching songs etc.____
HOPE THIS HELPS OTHERS

I seem to be having the same problem, too.

Zombie Master 1.1.3 (HL2 Mod)
2) What does the console say on starting the game (is HLDJ loaded succesfully?)
HLDJ successfully loaded!
3) What does it display when you attempt to load a file?
] 24
Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/hldj_selb.cfg
Loading : Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation
4) Does HLDJ launch the game for you correctly?
Yes
5) Do any other HLDJ commands work (i.e. hldjn, hldjp, hldjca, etc)?
Yes, but the song doesn't change.
PS. Stuck on song 22 (Europe - The Final Countdown)

Try copy-pasting any of your wav files to "steamapps\account\source sdk base\" and rename it to "voice_input.wav". Next, go back into game and enter "voice_inputfromfile 1; voice_loopback 1; voice_forcemicrecord 0; +voicerecord" into the console and see if anything plays.
