Can't hear music in TF2

Hi. Running HLDJ 1.6.0a7 32-bit on Windows XP SP3. I'm trying to use HLDJ on Team Fortress 2. After loading a song and pressing F1 in-game, I don't hear any music, only a very faint buzzing.

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? Yes

2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)? Yes

3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?

Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/hldj_cmd_b.cfg
Loaded : songname

4) After loading one of the sample audio files, perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where?

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\team fortress 2
(I can play the voice_input.wav and it sounds like the song I loaded)

5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game? Yes, other players can hear me using my mic.

Other info:
Game Directory- C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\team fortress 2\tf
Audio Directory- C:\music

Tried using these commands but didn't work:
voice_inputfromfile 1; voice_loopback 1; voice_forcemicrecord 0; voice_modenable 1; voice_enable 1; +voicerecord

Do others hear the music you play? Do other people play music on that server? If your answer for both questions is no, chances are the server you play on doesn't have sv_allow_voice_from_file set to 1.
That faint buzzing is likely noise picked up from your mic. If you were try talking into it, you should hear what you say played back to you (unless you go to a server with sv_allow_voice_from_file on, then it should work fine).

Thanks for replying.

sv_allow_voice_from_file was set to 0 on that server, but I tried another server and it worked! Thanks.
