It seems sometimes when i play, my game freezes, but only the ppl/me moving

the typed words/ppl talking still funtions as usual, but the game freezed and i end up having to disconnect from the game

i play counter strike source.

also, i "time out" about halfway through the song

Sounds like a bandwidth problem, do you have a high-speed connection? You may want to try some other servers. Failing that:
1. enter "net_graph 3" into console. When you play, check the graph (lower-right) for any packet choke or loss (values over 5 are bad)
2. enter "cl_cmdrate" and "cl_updaterate" into console, what are their values (should be 30-50)
3. you can try HLDJ's network optimizations in Options->Optimizations. Enable them and use the above values as "default" and much lower values (say half of these) as "Optimized". If you don't notice any results, disable it again.
