Whenever I hit the checkmark to set up HLDJ after it detects my games, it says it can't write this file. What should I do?

Okay, I managed to fix the writing issue - but now it won't work in game. It's definitely responding in TF2 - when I type in the hldj stuff it acknowledges it, but...

I hit "la", see my list of songs. Type 4 and hit enter to queue that up. Pressed my play key. Nothing.

Same thing when I held play. What gives?

I did. I may just be overlooking something, but I followed the tutorial on the main site to the letter, and the stickies didn't help.

Of course, sometimes I miss things right under my nose, so I'll re-read them, but you could have been a bit more helpful. :v

Okay, bump because this is the third time over I've checked EVERYTHING it says in the sticky, and it still doesn't work. I fixed the writing problem, but now even when I select the file I want to play (la, then 3 because thats its number, it says it wrote a file), my play key doesn't work, nor does typing in playaudio manually. What gives?

Perhaps you read the wrong sticky.
