gmod 13 issues?

Hello I just learned about HLDJ from some one playing music in a server...So i did the whole downlad and setup but when i press F1 all Im getting is just the mic bubble saying im broadcasting but i hear no audio.Iv been fiddling with i HLDJ for about half an hour now trying all they suggestions in the manual,still not luck.
I think it might with a problem with Gmods most recent "up date" 13
