Ive had this same problem but it only doesnt work with css, hldj works fine with every other game. Most of all the files in my cstrike\cfg that relate to hldj are corrupt and unreadable including the autoexec.cfg and hldj_init.cfg. And for some reason it makes it so i cannot delete them or override ...
