HLDJ takes over my normal voice key? (TF2)

I have no idea what's going on. I followed the getting started guide exactly, and set my playaudio key to p. When I load TF2, all the console commands work fine, and audio plays as expected when I press p. The problem is that the audio ALSO plays when I press v, exactly as if I had set it to be my playaudio key. If I stop HLDJ, it unbinds my push-to-talk key for some reason.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Set the v key back to normal in TF2's options (or "bind v +voicerecord" in console)
