Cant find exe

I am trying to add Team fortress 2 to my HLDJ games list but i cant find the .exe. I purchased it off of steam without buying half life, which shouldn't be a problem right?

There is no TF2 exe per se. HLDJ is only concerned with the game directory, which, for TF2, should be "...\steamapps\username\team fortress 2\tf".

Hey Renegade. Did you make HLDJ? If so, thanks it's awesome^^ You seem to be the main guy answering questions here too so thanks for supporting the userbase. Much appreciated.

I have a similar question to the OP. I cannot add any games other than L4D. It used to work fine before but suddenly it made me re-add these games (TF2, etc.) and yet, it will not be able to select them.

Make sure gameinfo.txt exists in your game directories (if they are Source engine based). Steam has a way of magically making them disappear every so often (game updates, re-installs, etc), so you may need to start the game to re-generate it.

I should add this to the known game issues.
