Doesn't start at all.

Hi.

I just download it and the hldj.exe doesn't work.
When I tru to run it, I just get the "hldj.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" message.

I've got XP and I'm using firefox.

Which version?
From hldj.org?
Do you have any account restrictions? - try starting it in Administrator mode.
Try placing HLDJ on your main partition (if not already).

The latest version from hldj.org, I'm always as admin and it's already in the main partition.
Looks like the files are corrupted but they seem to work for everyone else so I guess that ain't the issue.

Kinda weird though since it doesn't even start.
The error window pops up first thing.

Try re-downloading if you suspect the files are corrupt, but I doubt that's it. More likely a rare conflict with some system setting. Are you on XP SP3 or 64bit? Using any custom themes? Virus protection? Any intrusive software/spyware/viruses?
At this point it's a needle-in-a-haystack... until any further info, I can only advise a re-format/re-install.
