HLDJ sounds horrible!

HLDJ sounds really horrible pixeliate in CS 1.6 but sound works perfect in windows media player. I have converted the file to wav 8000 hz 16bit and it sounds horrible pixeliate.

Please ensure you've read the forum sticky: you should be testing on a server set to maximum voice quality (sv_voicecodec speex, sv_voicequality 5). In the forum rules you'll also find a link to a tutorial on how to convert audio properly, and additional tips can be found in the Tips & Tricks forum.
