I even tried reinstalling, restarting the computer, etc.
But it seems like it only wants me to be able to use one file only, i get the 1) ./ 2) ../ 3) *audiofile1* when I type la in console (source game)...
Even the last time i deleted it a reinstalled though, it still had something i had even REMOVED out the folder, and the only way I could add a new file, was to move ALL the audio files I had tried to add out, put ONE of the new audio files I created in the audio directory, then REBOOT and then I could see that one in game in the console.
Any ideas?
Typed this quick hope its not sounding too vague

Re: Audio files added not appearing in console in game
Check your audio directory.
Make sure files end in '.wav'
Make sure filenames don't contain any characters the game might have trouble displaying.
If all else fails, post a picture of your audio directory along with the contents of hldj_listaudio.cfg (can be found in your game's cfg folder after you've started a game)
